Research

At the Cardiologists, we have established a private research facility to offer patients greater choice in managing their cardiovascular health.

Through our associate researchers including Associate Professor Gautam Vaddadi, Dr Ul Haq, and Associate Professor Han Lim, we offer a range of trials including cholesterol lowering trials, heart failure trials and heart rhythm management trials, as well as trials involving new therapeutics for coronary artery disease and novel devices for heart rhythm management.

The VESALIUS-CV Study

VESALIUS-CV is a multinational clinical outcomes study including at least 13,000 patients that will explore the potential of Repatha® (evolocumab) for the prevention of a first cardiovascular (CV) event in patients at high cardiovascular risk without a prior heart attack or stroke. The study will be the first to investigate long-term outcomes in this population with Repatha for a minimum of four years.

The Cardiologists are currently recruiting high risk patients for the VESALIUS-CV study.
