The Cardiologists - consulting and testing appointments available at Epping. We are open as usual.

 The Victorian and federal authorities have published recommendations for the COVID – 19 response. Based on the evolving recommendations published by by the following modifications to our procedures to reduce the risk of infection whilst continuing to provide care for our patients:

  1. Telephone consultations - we are providing bulk billed telephone consultations to all patients who are eligible for the new Medicare telephone consultation items – this includes all patients over 70 and all those with serious medical conditions who are at increased risk from coronarvirus infection.   2. Patients will be informed about whether they will have a telephone or physical consultation when they book new appointments for consultations and when their appointments are confirmed.

  3. Front desk - when you arrive please check in at the front desk and follow our staff instructions.

  4. Social Distancing – we will be reducing the  seating capacity in our waiting room to maximise personal space. Please do not arrive to your appointments too early, and only bring essential people with you.  All additional patients and attendants will be asked to wait in their cars until they are called to come in for their appointment.

  5. Screening or treatment for COVID19 or any other respiratory infections. We do not offer these services.  Staff will ask you about respiratory symptoms and fever when they confirm appointments prior to your appointment and when you come in.

  6. Patients with  respiratory symptoms or a fever – Please do not enter our clinics if you have  as you will be putting our staff and other patients at unnecessary risk and you will be asked to leave.
